Professional Technical Support Services, Inc. (Pro-Tech) was founded in 1989 as a service company which specializes in providing support to industry, consultants, contractors, and analytical laboratories in the form of quality field services on environmental projects.  Our principal staff has an abundance of diverse field experience focusing on sampling, soil probing technology, drilling, hydrogeological assessments, remedial actions, QA/QC inspection, construction management, and other related projects. Additionally, we employ and train professionals with a focus on field activities.

Pro-Tech understands the cyclical nature of the environmental industry, which consequently forms the basis for our business; providing support when internal manpower requirements exceed availability. Pro-Tech's experience with field programs in the environmental industry allow us to complete projects in a technically sound manner while being more cost effective than traditional staffing alternatives, such as hiring and creating new permanent positions or borrowing staff from other offices.   The range of services offered include:

Pro-Tech is dedicated to providing a conscientious field staff with experience commensurate with the projects' requirements to ensure each clients' need are satisfied. The operations are headquartered in Baton Rouge with supporting offices in Atlanta, Houston, and Jacksonville.

Pro-Tech's primary service is to assist clients with data collection, daily documentation, and field work which is required on most engineering and environmental projects.  Pro-Tech utilizes industry standards and protocols and Site-Specific Work Plans prepared by the consultants in the completion of field services to ensure the integrity of the data and information collected. All field work is performed using OSHA compliant Health & Safety Plans.
